Karina was born in Copenhagen in 1975 but grew up in Antwerp and has lived in 6 countries in total. She studied clinical psychology and systemic psychotherapy in Belgium, and worked alongside some of Belgium's most renowned couples therapists. Later she specialized in sex therapy in Berlin and now teaches others the same subject, both internationally and in Berlin.
She has 20 years of experience in clinical work with clients. The working process involves several experts, one might say, because the client is the expert in their life and experiences, and Karina is the expert in using the appropriate therapeutic skills. It is a collaboration, and not a matter of Karina telling people what to do. Due to her specializations, she works a lot with relationships as well as gender and sexuality related themes.
