Nicole Villani, USA
Born and raised in New York, Nicole learned from an early age how important it was to hustle. She adopted this work hard/play hard mentality that often left her anxious, depleted, sick, and exhausted. In the early years, she had no sense of self; no hobbies, no passions, no direction, and no boundaries. She placed a lot of emphasis on success being the answer to all of her problems, but learned that once she achieved that success she still felt empty inside. From as far back as she could remember, she always believed there was something more to life, but spent a good portion of it stuck in a spiral of addiction from which she couldn’t break free. Through the backdoor of meditation and yoga, she gained the self-awareness she needed to understand that if nothing changes, nothing changes. Through the better part of a decade, she studied every last bit of information she could find on spirituality, personal development, universal truths, and the mind-body-soul connection. It was a slow journey to finding balance, health, and happiness, but she finally realized in order to feel fulfilled and maintain that fulfillment, it had to come from within, not without.
