Noha Waibsnaider
Noha Waibsnaider is a leading food entrepreneur and changemaker in the healthy, real food movement. After graduating from Columbia Business School, she worked at Unilever and learned about the preservatives, chemicals, and processing that fills most of our foods.
Originally from Israel, Noha grew up on a diet of mostly unprocessed foods and snacked on dried fruit. She realized there was a big gap in the marketplace and an opportunity to create snacks that make people feel good about snacking, with food that tastes great and is naturally nutritious.
In 2005, she launched Peeled Snacks: organic fruit snacks with no added sugar or preservatives. Peeled Snacks has now expanded to veggie snacks with the new Peas Please. With her vision of providing tasty and nourishing snacks everywhere you need a snack, Peeled Snacks are sold in Starbucks, Whole Foods, Hudson News, Target, Giant, Stop & Shop, Wegmans, Sprouts, Amazon, and many other retailers. The company has ranked on the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies for the last four years, has been featured in Oprah’s O List, and received the Healthy Snack award from Health Magazine and Fitness Magazine.
Noha has been recognized as a White House Champion of Change, JWI Woman to Watch, and Women Presidents Organization’s 50 Fastest.
